چکیده

We present an approach to capturing the semantics of quality requirements in an intermediate predesign step residing between quality requirements elicitation and conceptual design. We propose Quality-Aware Predesign Model (QAPM) to be used at this step. In this model, the problem domain is viewed as a set of concerns. Out of this set, concerns related to quality are separated from those related to the main functionality of the system. Quality concerns are represented by hierarchical quality models incorporating quality characteristics and indicators. The semantics of both functional and quality concerns is modeled using Klagenfurt Conceptual Predesign Model (KCPM) concepts with necessary modifications. On basis of this, QAPM offers the set of concepts to represent the semantics of crosscutting relationships between the concerns.

A User Centered Approach to Requirements Modeling

The paper argues that the conventional methods for object oriented analysis and conceptual modeling suffer from lacks in requirements elicitation and validation by the end-user. Therefore, an intermediate level called ‘conceptual predesign’ is introduced between natural language requirements specification and conceptual design. The paper introduces the basic notions of a conceptual predesign mo...

Tool Supported Aspectual Predesign

Aspectual predesign is an approach to user-verified mapping of the nonfunctional requirements to the system into the aspect-oriented design model. It is an extension of the Klagenfurt Conceptual Predesign. In this paper, we present the architecture of modular software tool aiming to support the aspectual predesign workflow. The XML-based Predesign Exchange Format (PEF) for conversionindependent...

Conceptual Predesign as a Stopover for Mapping Natural Language Requirements Sentences to State Chart Patterns

Concerning data and object modeling, conceptual predesign proved useful in overcoming the impedance mismatch between conventional requirements analysis based on natural language and conceptual design. Within this contribution we will present first results on how the conceptual predesign model KCPM (Klagenfurt conceptual predesign model) may be used for the collection and mapping of dynamic requ...

Aspectual Predesign

This paper presents an extension of the Klagenfurt Conceptual Predesign Model (KCPM) allowing taking into account the non-functional requirements to the system. These requirements are treated as crosscutting concerns. This process could be also seen as an addition to the AOSD paradigm that brings the gap between the Aspect-Oriented Requirement Engineering and Aspect-Oriented Modeling. The exten...
